Does anyone know if the new on can play old cartridges on it?

My Sega Genesis collection is pretty crazy and I want to beat some of the games that I couldn't as a kid.

Yo, take all my money! Sure, backwards compatibility is stupid.

And Sega genesis games, I'll pay $80 for 40 games from the 90's. I used to sell every genesis game ever made, on two disc (gd-rom) for the dreamcast
I can play all those games today using my Xbox one and a one drive account but I'd rather pay $80 for a three button controller and only 40 games because some schmuck is doing the port

And the average size of genesis games was 4mb (special 5mb carts was made for street fighter 2) sohh for a measly $80 you get 3button controllers and no less than 160mb in total of games to enjoy.

NES and SNES classic really didn't have any games that were must pays for me but this joint here got some straight heat. Japan is getting MUSHA and I would've swapped that with Fantasy Zone but oh well
