He had a bad slump earlier in the season but he's playing much better now. His biggest problem is the amount of fastballs in the zone he's missing that he typically punishes. Gotta remember, it's a long season. Everyone is gonna slump at some point. Arcia is in a slump right now.

This team is giving me late 90s vibes where winning 100 games is a given with All Stars everywhere.

Difference is that I think this team is good enough to win it all again once Fried & Wright get back

Fried, Wright, Elder and Strider is a hell of a playoff rotation.

Braves lose 2 of 3 to the A's to end the month of May. They then proceed to go 20-4 in June. Only losing to the Reds, Tigers, D-Backs, and Nationals.

yeah the lineup is ridiculous. the big cat reference made me think of '98 and how they mashed, but the thing that time made me forget is that the lineup wasn't ridiculous we had 4 players carrying them (chipper, galarraga, andruw, javy lopez). shyt keith lockhart was playing 2b and michael tucker was in RF with a .745 OPS.

the pitching was way better though.
