I repeat, stay on topic and move away from ad hominem attacks. I can already see this diverting there. FYI, using a personal anecdote as somehow representative of society at large without sources to back it up is a weak argument. Second, if this thread is still going on when I get off work, I'll add on to the discussion of wage disparity. But the point of contention is people looking at the wage disparity and advocating for higher wages vs. those saying some business can't afford it (which is true). But what this really speaks to is a gap in our labor laws and the inability of individuals to collectively bargain across industries and within organizations. Neither side is evil in pointing these out.
