If it was cooked with the poop inside then the doodoo particles are everywhere in it. You gotta take that shyt out before you cook it but OP already addressed this issue as out of his control. That being said, I've worked in kitchens and deveined hundreds of shrimp at a time. It's doable, just time consuming but I got really good at doing it fast.

A seafood boil? I will let it slide but too many times I’ve gotten a meal from restaurants with the shell still on. I hate it.

If you ever buy REALLY good Patagonian shrimp. It’s really pink and full of shyt. To the point you won’t even want to clean that shyt. But, it’s :banderas: when you do that and fry it right. Or put it in some pasta or bbq them.

So look up Aliguea it’s a crab fat paste that you can buy in a jar, it’s made from the mustard (never heard it called that but makes sense). Very good for adding to dishes for a rich seafood flavour. It’s a phillipino thing but you may like it, try your local Asian grocery store.

You can add it into pasta, maybe with some claw meat and if you’re feeling extra deep fry a soft shell crab and put on top with a lil caviar maybe. When I make it I’ll post a pic on here.
Tomalley is fukking delicious and crab guts too. I know a breh that eats the dead man fingers.
