So to recap, if you think this is about doing the right thing then the lawmakers who will want him to resign should do the right thing and actually weild their power and remove him and stop with the politics.
He's already said twice he doesn't plan to resign. So let it play out or remove him from office.
But if we're keeping it a buck then people should also be calling for the necks of his enablers? But what do I know.
Honestly, this hits at a larger systemic issue in our culture that allows people to escape accountability and actually develop healthy workplace culture.
Often times people force a resignation and then say job well done. But this, as you pointed out, ignored the other people both career and political appointees that allow this to happen.
I find it hard to believe there were no complaints to HR if these allegations are to be believed. And if there were, why isn't there additional independent reporting/accountability/transparency mechanisms in place.
These aren't new.
And no, progressives aren't winning the messaging nor legislative battle.
