I think with only circumstantial evidence she helped the ladies come forward with their Cuomo stories as well. Prior to the 3rd accuser I believe she telegraphed her intentions. There were 2 accusationa out there and they had been for awhile and Cuomo was very dismissive of the scandal and put on a strong speech about how this is a destraction. That weekend Letitia said if another accuser comes out he should resign and at the time it didn't seem like another accuser was on the horizon. That Monday bam, another accuser. I don't think that's a coincidence. I do think she was somewhat Makavellian. Maybe her moved to cozy up to him during her AG race has nothing to do with it tho.
They announced the independent investigation (which cuomo himself invited) just a couple days after the first accusation (Feb 24th). I don't think it was her idea - it just made sense for her to lead it considering her position. These things are always open secrets. And the one thing about government scandals - whether it's related to sex, money etc - where there's smoke, there is a raging, red giant level molten inferno - so it's only a matter of time. I bet the actual number of women is closer to 100. Most women just never report shyt like this - especially if they're married, or maybe they're plugged into local political infrastructure and don't want to be seen as having a big mouth.
Again she will definitely try and use this as a stepping stone if she actually wants to be governor but to me it looks more like she was very much just going with the flow. She didn't want to be seen has having her finger on the scale either way.
to Letitia but she might not want to be the seen as the one who "took Cuomo down" so she probably doesn't run on that.
