i think the problem is also that ramona herself isn't a very developed character, at least in terms of why she would be interested in someone like scott, where with knives we know it's because she's young and naive and thinks it's cool to be dating an older guy

plus i kinda left the movie thinking that there's no way scott and ramona stay together and if you can't even make me believe in your love story, well that's kinda a failure for me

Yeah it skipped over a lot of extra character development scott got in the comic and still ramona was poorly developed.

but when I really think of it Ramona is the character I understand the least. No rhyme or reason for most of the shyt that happens around her and the realtonship with scott seems hammy and fake. Like she was just there going through the motions. It would have made sense to me if she dumped scott for gideon.
