This might be one of the few times where I enjoyed the movie a little more than the book, but I love both

I’m a big Mike Flanagan fan but I was a bit disappointed with it. It was definitely too long, but I found that Rebecca Ferguson is just too attractive for me to find scary or menacing. It definitely was not a bad movie. I’d give it a 7/10.
