I recommend playing it exactly the way it's sequenced in the Trailer (in the OP) at least once, I'm 90% sure it was intended that way initially, I fukk with it either way though.
After finally listening to the whole thing, 4 of the last 5 songs saves this album from being VERY bad. I just don’t know what he was going for on here. This is like a 6/10 album. Crash Talk was probably 2/10 by comparison. It’s like when Eminem followed up Revival with Kamikaze. An improvement, but forgettable.
Finally gave it a listen and i like it. A few joints on there that i really fukk with.
AZ Chike and Gibbs got the coldest features even tho im a sucker for Rico Nasty.
Truthfully It aint nowhere close to blank face. I gotta give it a little more time but i feel like the songs end mad abruptly and there's too many switch ups on the beats. Overall its a good sound and i do like the project as a whole. Def the type of album you have to listen to front to back in order to appreciate. TDE always puts out conceptual albums tho so it is to be expected.

Like what is this man what is he even talking about? (And I get the "piggy or hog /hoover reference") This is some mushmouth Ski Mask The Slum Lord sounding shyt... So much mid lyricism on this album
This is definitely my favorite Schoolboy Q album to date. This is the first album i’ve ever been able to connect with him as an artist over the course of an entire project. This is also the first since Oxymoron that I actually WANT to listen to and digest more than once or twice. This is going in my heavy rotation
I liked it. But it didn’t “grab me” so to speak. Objectively its a great album but from a lyrical/thematic perspective it was a twice listen and move on type of project.
I’m still listening to Blue Lips. Its in my rotation alongside Skyzoo’s Mind Of A Saint deluxe. These are the two best albums of the year so far
