Album is rapid fire. It doesn’t let up. Stream of consciousness. Really loving the introspective shyt from Q. Shows growth. It’s like he was swelling up for a long time and he had to let everything out to relieve the pressure. That’s how this album feels to me. This album is completely different than his previous albums.

really fukkin with the album, way better than crash talk, but not better than blank face off the first two listens for me

only songs i think i wasnt feeling were nunu, lost times, and smile. Lost Times aint even bad i just dont think i was in the mood for it

thank god 4 me, yeern 101, oHio, Foux :blessed:

some of these beats sound like they screamin for a kendrick feature. really Time Killers, Foux, Love Birds

He sounds focused* much better than Crash Talk. Blank Face is still his classic still. I’d place this at 4.

His best album in a long time - like this better than Crash Talk, Blank Face and Oxy Moron. Beat selection and the flow of the tracks is better. Don’t think this has bangers in the vein of Man of the Year, Tookie Knows or Numb Numb Juice but as a body of work, it’s better than all mentioned

Damn, I’m out the Loop…used to love schoolboy Q…these raps just sound like random words put together…

:yeshrug:

yeah it definitely is random words put together. 6/10 album at best
Yea Album has some nice cuts but overall it's pretty mid. The production is all over the place and too many weird beat switches. And most importantly Q's rapping and flow is worse than it's ever been. Sounds like he's trying his hardest to replicate his old flow but he can't quite get there anymore. He's lacking the energy. And his lyricism is average at best.

There's maybe 4 tracks I have the desire to listen to again. Blue slides, Cooties, Lost Times, and Pig Feet. Everything else is pretty forgettable. Crash talk had higher highs if I'm keeping it real. Gang Gang, Tales, Black Folk, Crash, Drunk>>>

Seemed like the "let radio decide what they want to play" death nail decision from a label. Maybe we're wrong and the fanbase comes out no matter what but this sure looks like it's gonna be a 30-40k first week thing that falls off the charts afterwards. They effectively killed his career for no reason...
Why are you blaming this on the label? At this point we know Q is in control of his career.
