Pintrest holds me the fukk down for slow cooker recipes.

Few weeks ago i took a head of cabbage, chopped it up with an onion, threw some seasonings in there with some turkey kielbasa. Turned it on over night and :mjcry: :ohlawd:

Someone link me to the best value one for a single man, Plan is to make it to make a few batches to last 2-4 days a week for dinner. I saw some at Target but didn't just want to get the cheapest one

I don't know that quality really matters. They all pretty much work. No different than a microwave, no need to drop coin IMO.

so the 4 quart joint for 20 bucks is pretty much the move? It says it serves 5 people so I assume I can probably make like 3-4 bowls of stuff at a time for myself. They have programmable ones for like 40 but idk if its worth it, I assume just put joint on low, med, or high and let it cook over night?

Also I assume I still soak my beans and stuff prior?

Yeah it's not too complicated three settings should do it. Maybe if you planned on cooking high for shorter periods.

If you cook them for than 3 hours you should have to soak them with proper liquid in there. Rinse the crap off of course.

ok, totally clueless about all this, I would hear you had to soak beans over night before cooking them and stuff. I want to make Navy Bean soup among other things, pretty much stuff higher in veggies, so I can start lowering my meat intake (lower not eliminate)

Normally you would to cut cooking time on a stove top. You should have to with a slow cooker because of the method of cooking.
