The Diary is way better than the Fix. But artists usually judge albums more from how happy they were when recording it then its quality. That explains why Scarface doesn't like the GB albums.
I feel for Scarface, dude is like always depressed about something. He's hands down one of the most talented artist ever and doesn't have what he should have to show for it meanwhile Soulja Boy can buy weed, lean and fake chains til his hearts content.

Touring with Bushwick's drunk ass looks like it'd be a goddamn nightmare.

Nice read. I haven't followed Face since The Fix. Don't know why Prince being a snake is some big revelation to some folks.

troy was the first to sign face gave a face his big chance...face was doin shows back then doin a couple of songs..lil j seen em...got in face ear.about signin...face signed...instead of j makin a new music for face..he piggy backed the scarface single troy had out...jus switched the beat up a lil...troy didnt trip charged it to the game..
troy n face remained cool...no plex what so ever...troy puts out sittin fat down south...it featured...face..willie d n 2 low...
face started gettin royalty checks...good money..this is when face went to def jam..one of the checks came to the lots office...j found out..started trippin..
lil troy wasnt botherin nobody...then all of sudden...here come the threats..n the snitch jacket came in the mix...troy never denied snitchin...said he would do it again...j mad kuz he wasnt gettin his cut..out of faces check..n willie d...
so they started plexin with troy kuz lil j wasnt gettin his cut...n he still hasnt received a dime til this day...he actually ended up payin troy..

mike called j to get money he was owed...j said sure....but at the sametime.. j wanted to redo his contract...mike thought it was weird kuz his contract wasnt up yet...n labels was callin tryin 2 sign em..kuz he was buzzin...mike was hesitant at signin...then j put em on the speakerphone...mike not wantin 2 resign pissed j off..so js puppets started sendin threats..
mike get to his house...sleep with his family...someone woke mike up told em to dont say sound...its too eazy...told em him to go back to sleep...mike closed his eyes for a couple of mins prayin...woke his wife up to ask if it was her....next thing u know bullet come thru the window...
mike charged it to the game...he knew what it was...so he at a club one of js goons approached em...cappin...they ended up fightin...he got to thinkin..n jus went burned the offices down...

flip was suppose to sign with face...flips uncle hump already had the deal penned...hump n face had a interview in the vibe..with aaliyah on the cover...face was happy as hell..durin the interview..he spoke on luda..then said he got a suprise next...the whole time durin that interview him n hump were doin the deal..flip wasnt there...
once the deal was done...in the interview said he wanted to let the cat out the bag n said he signed the coldest freestyler from his hood flip..

XCLUSIVE: The "Deeply Rooted" emcee also says that previous comments about Rap-a-Lot Records and The Geto Boys were taken out of context.
Scarface visited #DXHQ in promotion of his upcoming album, Deeply Rooted (August 31). During the conversation, the Houston native addressed what he deems is the media’s interpretation of his current relationship with The Geto Boys and Rap-A-Lot Records founder and CEO J. Prince.
“Try not to make a mutherfukker seem like I’m at odds with James [Prince] or at I’m at odds with [Willie D] or I’m at odds with [Bushwick Bill],” Scarface said. “That’s not the fukking truth. If you’re going to print the truth, print the truth. Did I feel fukked up about albums that came out that I didn’t play a part in with my fukking name on it, you goddamn right, as anybody else should. Or the shyt that I did on Geto Boys albums, did I like them? Nah. Could I have done it better? I could’ve been way better. I don’t feel like I put enough time into those Geto Boys projects to make them into what I wanted them to be. Everybody else might’ve loved the shyt, but I see holes in them where I could’ve made it better. So don’t try to make it seem like I hate The Geto Boys or I hate James or some shyt like that because that’s not the fukking case.”
While ‘Face has previously made comments critical of the music released while he was signed to Rap-A-Lot Records, he insists that his words have consistently been taken out of context.
“That kind of made me mad as a mutherfukker that someone would misconstrue my words and put them to a challenging or threatening manner towards someone I’ve looked up to and patterned my life behind, my whole adulthood,” he said. “A person can read some shyt and be totally misled by what they read. To see or hear audio action might be a better thing. Just know that when I say that James didn’t give a fukk about none of that shyt, he didn’t. He gave a fukk about the business. He gave a fukk about what was good for business and that’s what he did for business. Him dropping albums with my name on it without me being a part of that shyt was good for business. Let’s be real clear: ‘condemn’ and ‘slams’ and all that shyt, that’s p*ssy shyt because that’s not what I said. I didn’t say that I condemn him or I slammed him. That’s not the words that came out of my mouth.”
Scarface also emphasized that his biggest concern has always been the music.
“I could’ve done that shyt way better than that,” he said. “I for one don’t want to flood the market with my music and I take this shyt real personal. I’m married to my music, man. I don’t give a fukk about nothing else but my music, bro. So to take that music that didn’t make the rest of the albums and put it out, I didn’t like that. Me being mad, that’s business. At the end of the day, business is one thing and friends is another thing. Two different words. Two different meanings.”
