Say what you want about Cole apologizing, he still had the best verse of the year by far

His ability to seamlessly transition between different rhythmic levels, from quadruplets, to quintuplets, to sextuplets, to double-quadruplets, is on a level I have never seen before. I've seen these rhythms before, most predominantly in Busta Rhymes circa the "Genesis" album, Outkast's albums circa "Aquemini", and Eminem post-2001 until Relapse. But I've never seen anyone able to put it all together at once like Kendrick and move from one to the next almost effortlessly.

There's a clear difference between rapping fast and having random rythmic transitions that never existed like J.Cole, and mastering a flow like Kendrick.
I'm not even hating or trolling, there's nothing worth breaking down from Cole's catalog...I tried, but there's nothing, except songs you can subjectivelly appreciate because "of the vibe", but thats it.

Kendrick is a master when it comes to rapping skills.

Backseat freestyle is amateur hour rap compared to Coles verse on Johnny P Caddy. Stop that shyt.

I swear you fools only get hyped cuz he swtiches up his voice. Fall for the gimmicks, I dont.

Not a single bar in that record is a standout bar. Not one.

This is real fukking rap. Kendrick aint in this league. Stop. Real bars. No gimmicks. Cole just rapping. Kendrick doesnt do this.

Backseat freestyle displays more skills than anything Cole has ever put out, and I've heard Cole's entire catalog.
Objectively speaking of course...

But I'll let you keep posting the songs you subjectively prefer. it's ok to have tastes,...some people believe Nicki Minaj makes better music than Tupac.

Kendrick pretty much mastered the "internal single-syllable rhymes in different rhythmic positions in sentences of all types of length and organization" in every album...and there's evidence out there, and dude just out here posting a song with J.cole rapping with a DLN flow (meaning a flawed flow from amateurs) :mjlol:

Cole himself would tell you he doesn't even know what a blue note is...he's just a fan trying to rap words on a beat. He doesn't comprehend music like that. Kendrick does. And we see the difference

All you talk about is flow and cadeance. And you only bring that up because you are tricked into thinking voice change= good flow.

I noticed you havent mentioned any actual bars.
That Jonny P Caddy verse is more barred up than anything kendrick spit in his whole career. I bet they all went over your head. smh.

Worth to note kendrick is also the only rapper since Pharoahe Monch to incorporate classic music elements in his flows. You can compare Kendrick’s rap verses and the variations form in classical music. Check his flows on TPAB, and compare them to “Variations On A Shaker Melody”

But you don't have the ear or the knowledge for that, you don't even know what a variation is :mjlol:
Imagine clowning kendrick fans because a lot of them are expert in their field, musicians, critics, or whatever
