What was the repost for?
I wanted one, too.Emphasizing the fact that Microsoft fukked up with that line.
They're hoping this shyt will go away in time for November.
as a major fan of 360 this shyt depressing....
you wont own the games only the right to license them, meaning in 10years you may think hey let me play that game i purchased 10 years ago, you throw that shyt in and it may not even play despite you buying it
following...
You do not own the games you buy. You license them.
Discs are only used to install and then license games and do not imply ownership.
People can play games installed on your console whether you're logged in or not.
10 people can be authorised to play these games on a different Xbox One via the cloud, but not at the same time, similar to iTunes authorised devices.
Publishers decide whether you can trade in your games and may charge for this.
Publishers decide whether you can give a game you own to someone for free, and this only works if they have been on your friends list for 30 days.
Your account allows you to play the games you license on any console.
Your Xbox One must connect to the internet every 24 hours to keep playing games.
When playing on another Xbox One with your account, this is reduced to one hour.
Live TV, Blu-ray and DVD movies are exempt from these internet requirements.
Loaning and renting games will not be possible at launch, but Microsoft is "exploring the possibilities".
Microsoft may change these policies or discontinue them at any point.
Reddit is absolutely shytting on Microsoft. Front page criticisms everywhere.
Most definitely. They know how people are. The thing thats on their side though is I think Sony is going to be doing the very same thing. I still can't see a situation where one console would go so far left and the other one doesn't. It seems like suicide. The only thing I can think of is that maybe MS is trying to force change in the industry to see if it can take hold. If it does, good. If it doesn't and no one buys their sh!t they can go back to publishers and say "See, we tried, it doesn't work." Thats where that "Microsoft may change these policies or discontinue them at any point." comes into play. If it doesn't work they can just flip the switch.Emphasizing the fact that Microsoft fukked up with that line.

every day is more of a PR disaster for M$
every day is more of a PR disaster for M$
What do you think is going through their minds with some of these decisions lately? Not just the console, but across the board?
/r/gaming has always been anti-Microsoft and pro PC and PS3. No surprise there. Bunch of rabid fanboys in there.
I unsubscribed to that shyt long ago and went with /r/truegaming instead.
Thats true to a degree. You didn't own the code. But you owned your copy of the software. But you couldn't redistribute it. There was even wording that you could legally make backups of software that you owned. Thats why when you would go to a lot of those "bootleg" sites you would see them giving instructions on how to make "backups" of games because as long as they showed you how to make "backups" it was legal. I remember going to one of the Xbox modding sites back in the day and asking how to copy a game I'd already copied and those mofos flipped the fukk out. LMAO.this is the way it has always been. every software you have ever seen in your life comes with an end user license agreement...
youve never owned software unless you made it yourself
