My Pops Forever RIP
I can see Mina getting a Pablo deal where she gets in the contract to be part of Lebatard/Meadowlark but also still retained to do NFL Live/MNF/etc... (Pablo is still doing ATH & PTI while signed to Meadowlark for his own thing).
I ran into him last week in Brooklyn, just him being super chill. He walks like he got 100 goons behind him :heh:

I can see Mina doing MNF because she'll become THAT person for football coverage there, but it's up to her since she got her pod, ATH and her writing. Unless she wants to work :unimpressed:shifts., she's probably best utilized now as is. MNF would be a national glow up for her though.

Honestly none of the names were surprising in the slightest as some had been rumored for months. I guess you could say JVG, but ESPN likely wants Doc as a game analyst so it makes sense why they’d get rid of him.

I guess the only question is what will take Key, J Will and Max’s time slot unless they just pad more time for SC at a cheaper cost.

Need to go young badly.

They done that with Around the horn and then moved those young folks into other roles in which they eventually got let go or demoted. I remember when Pablo, Bomani & Mike Smith were the young guys.

30 for 30 and Last Dance is ESPN at its best last 13years. Hell, I wouldn't remind a return of playmakers.

Too many talking heads rehashing same topics is a problem.

Pat’s show is going to take their spot starting September.

Na McAfee is a midday show, probably in the 12p-3p range.

ESPN Radio should just be relegated to games/events, really.

Live podcasts seem to be the way they’re going and could be better to invest resources in anyway…plus less expensive, I imagine.

More than likely the 12p-3p range and replacing the two hours of SC plus This Just In. IIRC they already do two hours of SC right after Key, Max and J-Will so two more would be complete overload.

Does Greeny still do radio?
