How can someone retire from ESPN, if they’ve only been there for 10 years
Seems like it’s a situation of where they chose not to renew her contract or she’s leaving to go work for The Ringer full time.
Shes probably retiring from the industry, ESPN was just her last stop
I'm not exactly sure about that
She's been working for both ESPN and The Ringer for the past year. The only other personality they do that (Ryan Russillo) ended up leaving ESPN to go to The Ringer full time. That's why I'm questioning the authenticity of this retirement.
Guess we'll know the real answer to the question if/when she shows up on a podcast with Simmons or Richard Deitsch to talk about it like other former ESPN personalities have been doing.

I can't retire at 65 if I've only been with a company 1O years?
Since when is being let go from ESPN a career death sentence.
i see what you’re saying. She might be saying “retiring” so it doesn’t sound like she was let go.
Getting to that time of the year again where ESPN lets a bunch of folks go as we get closer to and into the fall.
