Jerome Bettis is the latest victim of ESPN's mass layoffs.

A member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2015, Bettis joined ESPN at the start of the 2013 season

:dwillhuh:Dude, literally EVERYTHING Rob Dyrdek does on his show can be seen on the internet as well.

Look, I know you're like 12, but virtually NOBODY watched music videos just for the videos

You watched them for the personalities (Bill Bellamy, Doctor Dre & Ed Lover, Kennedy, etc. . .)
You watched them for interviews with stars.
You watched them to see new fashions and hear new slang, etc . .
And you watched it as a "gatekeeper"..

Yeah, you COULD watch stuff on the internet, but there's too much shyt on the internet. How do you sift through all that bullshyt? MTV & BET (and VH1 to a lesser extent) did a decent job in the early '90s sifting through shyt so you didn't have to.

With your logic, there shouldn't be an E! Channel because everything they talk about on there you can see on 100 gossip sites on the internet.

Hell, virtually EVERY channel has shyt i could find on the internet thanks to YouTube, fron chefs to personal trainers to household hacks to comedians.

I guess NOTHING should be on TV then.

You really shouldn't talk about things you're not old enough to understand.

I feel ya! I still use Pandora & traditional radio once in a while for discovery purposes then YouTube it. But at least YouTube has a music app that makes discovery easier.

If you want interviews. Breakfast club & dj Vlad on YouTube.

106 & park & TRL & Yo MTV Tek Holmes era & beyond put me onto stuff. Not to mention citas world, the basement & hits from the streets.

full

but it must've hit a sensitive spot with all that you just posted:heh:.
You shouldn't be talking to a 12 year old online and should start taking computer classes to learn to use the Internet better

I can't stand Vlad or Charlemagne. Their style of interviewing was nothing like the best VJs. Those dudes are shock jocks who make eerything about them and trying to go viral. The best VJs (Prince Dejour, Dr. Dre & Ed Lover, Fav Five Freddy) were about the music first and foremost.

And like I said, you can find everything online in anything.

There's literally no reason to watch TV at all, if we're going by things you can find on YouTube other than scripted dramas & live sports.

That doesn't mean that there's no place for music shows on TV.
