Thats cool but just keep in mind, whatever years you hold in your heart as your favorite, people were saying the exact same shyt about.

People tend to love whatever cast was on when they were growing up the most and think its "untouchable" when its not true.
I was born in 88' so the late 90's early 00's were my favorite ones and are gonna have more of a lasting impression on me, but I can easily watch 80's and early 90's episodes and still laugh because they were actually funny. these new ones are straight trash no matter how you cut it.

But its not the truth. I mean, personal truth sure.

But like i said, you love the years you grew up with.

Those years that you yourself wrote were untouchable golden years saw lorne almost being fired and major publications writing it wasnt funny.

shyt even in petsonal experience, my father and his father grew up with the chrvys, ackroyds, belushis, murphys etc and to them that was the golden years.

When they got older and saw me watching sandler/hartman/myers years they said it was unfunny crap that should be taken off the air.

You cant see past your own nostalgic bias. Every year has good stuff, bad stuff, out right garbage and then classic stuff.

A year from now nobody is going to remember the bad sketches. But the great ones will be.

I think right now theyre going through a heavy transition.

Armisen, wiig, sudekis, samberg, hader eyc all left. Nobody has really stepped up to take over.

But those peopke above had classic skits that are just as funny as any other previous years.

Ain't next week Bill Hader the guest host? That's an automatic :blessed:from me, the return if Stefan will be :wow:

Yea but will be only 4 minutes out of 90...these first 2 episodes are showing that Colin Jost as head writer is a BAD IDEA...hopefully it picks up but I don't know

Michael che was great this week.

Colin jost is a black hole. He has zero comedic timing as a performer. Theres dead pan and then theres josting. Even when he has a funny joke he cant deliver it. He just reads it flatly.

Hes replaced colin quin as the worst update anchor ive ever watched.

Bring back cecily, kick jost off.
