It is weird.... cut is just about done and I'm not feening for sweets or calories like I was before the break or I usually am. I am def gonna try and stick to healthier whole foods and like I said before do away with the late night snacks. That's what put me over a lot of the time. If I can cook dinner ~4-5 nights a week I will be good. Not trying to blow this leanness... really trying to stay below 190 so I can get down in the mid 170s next year. Then hopefully I can just bounce between 175-185

Rode last night so it's a *little* optimistic, but still, I was 184 last Friday, 1 week average is in the 181s and down 2lbs, have to move to the next holes on the pants and lifting belts etc....

~9 weeks (taking out my diet break week), ~18lbs, 10lbs gained on a 5 lift total, 13% gain in strength/weight ratio.... aside from my little RC thing, which has nothing to do with my cut, I would call this an overwhelming success. Gonna stick to the protocol through the weekend, including hopefully another fasted outside ride this Sunday. If I am below 179 next Tuesday (since that will be a "true" weigh in) I'm gonna call it early.... if not hard stop will be next Saturday. Gonna try and keep the transition light.... do like a clean 2500 a day up from the 2000-2200 I'm doing now, same feeding window yadda yadda. Got a new gas grill so you know what that means :shaq: Overall very happy with this cut. Hope the gain phase can go the same.

Right shoulder is feeling a little better.... still tweaked but not full on painful. For now just gonna do light military press on upper days since strangely that doesn't seem to hurt. May try heavy MP once a week too, IDK. Damn flys! Chest is looking good too.

Hit upper body today. Tried to test my shoulder with bench, just hitting 135 made my shoulder say :sitdown: Needless to say I'm gonna be doing a shytload of shoulder pressing which may be a good thing. It's my bytchiest lift by far and strangely somehow doesn't hurt whatever is fukked with my shoulder at all. Maybe it's just the lower loads :manny: Just gonna fukk with military pressing 3x/week and see what happens.

Put the grill together today... :banderas:

Weighed in the mid 181s :dahell:

I'm filling back in somehow.... I look pumped and I haven't lifted since Saturday. Debating.... Ion one hand I could hang it up now and be OK for the summer. On the other hand I'm feeling like if I push to the end of July I should be able to get down to 175 which would set me up to stay in my permanent window. I feel like where I'm at now could be a maintenance weight... I'm not depleted or starved at all. Plus there are few more weeks of summer. The losses are coming in spurts but some of that is me slacking a little bit.... if I tighten it up I think I can push through to the finish line, rather than quitting now and then having to go that much harder next year. Rather try and stay under 185 and just do 5-6 week/10-12lb mini cuts maybe twice a year. That's way more manageable and conducive to gainzzzz. Too close and feeling too good to stop now.... speaking of which I think I'm gonna ride.

Upper body for lunch today. Didn't get to ride last night... toying with the idea of riding tonight or tomorrow. Meeting with some friends tomorrow night at a bar as well, shyt's gonna be a real test of willpower :sadcam: Def looking to get 3 rides a week in from here on out if I can.

Upper body went well. Hit heavy MP.... 3x5x135 went up really easy and I had more juice left for arm work. Might add like 10lbs to that next week. Also did machine crunches instead of flys. Right shoulder feels fine but I'm still gonna give it a few weeks before I try bench again. I'm actually enjoying MP a bit... nice little change up. Might do some more of it even once I start benching again.

Gonna get my Matt Ogus on.... start having big grilled chicken salads for dinner. May have to scale lunch back a little bit as well.

Wifey was asking me how much muscle I put on since I started lifting.... had me thinking. I really started lifting out of high school and I was prob ~140lbs then. But I started getting serious in 08 I think. Pretty sure I started at like 160. I would say right now I'm at least as lean as I was then so a legit 20lbs of lean mass over the last 7 years. Can't complain at all. If I can maintain a summer weight of ~170-175 and a winter weight 10lb higher I will be good.

Damage from the night out was a lot lighter than I thought it would be, and it was pretty bad. 2 beers, a cupcake, hella chicken + cheese nachos. Got alternative upper body today and I'm gonna ride tonight.

Like I said I got my salad on.... actually worked OK. Def gonna try and rock with this for the rest of the cut; just gotta experiment with how I make the chicken.

I figure another 2-3 weeks basically sprinting will get me down another 5 so I can bounce back and settle close to where I am now, and only have to do a quick 10lb cut over like 5-6 weeks vs another 15-20 stretched out over months. Close enough to set myself up to make things a lot easier in the future I'm hoping so I'm just gonna go for it.
