185.2.... I think I had too much caffeine yesterday or my sleep is all fukked up from going to bed at like 2 Sunday morning and then going to bed at like 10 last night. I feel alright though. Debating if I'm gonna ride today. Legs feel a little nuked and I'm happy with my fat loss pace. Measured my waist today and I'm in the 29s. Looking forward to getting down to the 170s so I can get back to gaining but I'm having fun on the way down too.

Just one day but it's starting to look like if I don't do cardio I'm not dropping weight anymore :lupe: I did eat and drink a little late but nothing crazy at all. Gonna cap the feeding window off early tonight and see if that helps. I probably shouldn't have got used to 2lb/week drops day in and out. Stepping back I am 3 weeks into the second leg of this cut and I got a blazing start.... I will adjust expectations I guess. If we can do the homebody thing this weekend I should be able to get my minimum of 3 rides which will help. Still though.....

Got upper body today... looking forward to see how much more edge was taken off my bench :sadcam:

Hit upper body with heavy bench. Bench part reminded me of a recent vid Eric Helms did on training to failure. I got greedy with the first set, hit 6x230. But it was a grind. So I had to drop it down to 225, and only got 3 on the 2nd set. That left me enough juice to go to the end on the 3rd set and get 6x225. If I had just started at 225 I probably could have got 17-18 out of 18. I'm OK with the drop though... last year I was holding on to my gains by my fingernails, this year I'm holding on with my fingers. Palms are getting sweaty though :sadcam: Workout went well though, another deposit.

184.6 I think :ehh: Def in the 184s I think. #TrustTheProcess Closed my feeding and drinking window pretty early, followed protocol. Something is up with my sinuses though; fukking with my sleep. I think we gotta break out the humidifier and maybe turn up the thermostat at night. shyt's still moving in the right direction at a decent clip though, can't complain at all.

185.2... average is moving down though and I'm overdue for cardio. Not worried. I definitely want to get 3 rides in by Tuesday this weekend... I slacked off a little last week. Garage was tied up but now it's free so I should be skraight. Got upper body for lunch

Did a trainer ride.... IDK what it is, if I'm tired, if it's cause I'm out of practice, IDK. But I could only do like 30 minutes. When I get in the habit of doing it I can go pretty strong but if I take even one day off I fall off. But I can ride outside no problem. It's weird. I'm really gonna try and get rides in tomorrow, Sunday and Monday though. shyt's coming off but it's definitely slowing up.

Feeling sick though. Zinc tablets on deck. Slept well but still feel shytty. Hoping things turn around for my ride tonight and upper body session tomorrow. Feeling better than when I woke up but definitely not 100%. Average weight is still down 2lbs from last week.... really hoping I can get my healfh back up quickly and get some cardio done this weekend cause it looks like I'm somewhat stalling. My actual weight was the same last Friday

Rode last night but only for 30 mins. Feeling mostly better though I do think I need to see a doctor about this damn sinus shyt I got. Down 2.4 from last Saturday, shyt's moving. Really hoping to be done with this shyt by mid July. If I can do like 5-6lbs by the weekend of the 16th I'll be good.

Kind of wish I took progress pics along the way. I have some random ones... once I'm done I'll put it all together.

Back up to 183.2... can't complain at all, 1 week average has dipped deep into the 184s.

Logging and analyzing the progress on this cut has made it so much easier and less stressful.

Also been thinking about making adjustments to the diet, or at least acknowledging a change in targets. Last year when I cut I started at 215-220, so to a degree 250-300g of protein made sense. But it kind of didn't. I've been averaging more like ~200-250g/day on this cut and somehow have held on to strength way better despite starting off and getting much leaner. I think a few things are at play, and prob the biggest thing is just my body prioritizing holding onto muscle more, but I'm feeling like the extra carbs and fats aren't hurting.

I hit upper body Saturday.... went pretty well actually, can't believe how well I am holding onto my damn strength. Didn't do a lick of cardio but I worked on my car all weekend and went for a quick swim with wifey. Weight is down like it needs to be so I'm not skressing... starting to finally feel the damn cut so not having to do cardio is nice. I will try and get a ride in tonight though.
