Logging and analyzing the progress on this cut has made it so much easier and less stressful.
Also been thinking about making adjustments to the diet, or at least acknowledging a change in targets. Last year when I cut I started at 215-220, so to a degree 250-300g of protein made sense. But it kind of didn't. I've been averaging more like ~200-250g/day on this cut and somehow have held on to strength way better despite starting off and getting much leaner. I think a few things are at play, and prob the biggest thing is just my body prioritizing holding onto muscle more, but I'm feeling like the extra carbs and fats aren't hurting.
I hit upper body Saturday.... went pretty well actually, can't believe how well I am holding onto my damn strength. Didn't do a lick of cardio but I worked on my car all weekend and went for a quick swim with wifey. Weight is down like it needs to be so I'm not skressing... starting to finally feel the damn cut so not having to do cardio is nice. I will try and get a ride in tonight though.
