Elbows feel better
Dropped the weight on tricep single joint stuff. Really gonna be aggressively strict about form there.... got greedy. Might drop back down from 105 to like 85-90. Will give it a try this weekend.
Learned a lot this year. A whole whole lot. Just gonna spitball.
- I am
NOT a powerlifter
More importantly though,
I don't want to be one. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it and will dabble in it, but no way in hell am I gonna base my training around it.
These guns are for show.
- No need to get fat to make strength gains. I'm really gonna pay for that mistake during this cut. I shouldn't have got bigger than 200lbs.
- It def pays to accessorize and turn up on weak parts. Carefully hitting arms 3x/week has paid dividends over the last couple of months, which leads me to another point...
- Body parts are good to go within 48 hours no problem, at least in a caloric surplus. No reason not to hit every weak body part 3x/wk outside of time.
- My legs are a beast. Back in June I was doing 295x4-5 or so on squats. Now I am doing 285x8 no problem.
Plan is to drop 40 by June, enjoy the summer and then start a controlled bulk in September. That will run through March and then I will just be on a yearly bulk/cut cycle. Just gotta do this epic cut this year.
