Back to my regular routine, I like it. Haven't weighed myself but the time off made me a little flat, which sucks when you're fat.

Back to my old routine... chest and arms 3x/week with back and shoulders mixed in 2x/wk each and legs 2x/wk. I like that flow. Right elbow and lower back I took time off for feel OK. Like 90%. Basically feel OK to finish the year strong before I start this cut. One thing I did switch was I ditched DB overhead tricep extensions and went back to cable + dropped the weight a good bit. The stretch is pretty crazy and is the real load for the exercise, so there's no need to go overboard with the weight. Rather stretch more with less weight.

Hit chest/arms/back Tuesday, legs Wednesday, chest/arms/shoulders today. I keep saying it, but man when I get this home gym it's gonna be on, I def had the energy to do more but just not the fukking time. For now though just sticking with what I know works.

Hit upper body Saturday and lower body today. Stuff is OK. Weighed in at 219 flat this morning.

Everything is OK. One thing I have to change to save my elbows... looks like I'm limited to ~100lbs on tricep extension movements before either form breaks down or my elbows start to scream. So I am gonna probably hang around 90-95lbs and just keep increasing reps/sets. When I get to 12 reps with good form, add another set. Weirdly, I have zero problems with my biceps, but I am moving about ~70-80lbs on single joint movements there. I feel good though. Feel strong going into this cut.

Right elbow is still bothering me a bit. Admittedly this is the time of year where I have to do a shyt ton of typing for my side gig. So my hands are swollen and all fukked up. Still getting it in though. One thing I found that helps is actually an elbow compression sleeve. Keeps the blood there. Hit chest/arms/back yesterday and legs today. Chest arms shoulders tomorrow.

Gonna go back to lifting at lunch. I like it. Did it today, felt fine even with no intraworkout shyt. Gym was empty too.

Hit chest, arms and shoulders today. Threw on an extra arm superset. Elbows feel OK. Like I said, goal is to finish up the year strong. Might drop back to just doing one back/shoulder movement and double up on arms every upper day. Arms will be the first to go once the cut starts.

Ordering my bike trainer.

Elbows feel better

Dropped the weight on tricep single joint stuff. Really gonna be aggressively strict about form there.... got greedy. Might drop back down from 105 to like 85-90. Will give it a try this weekend.

Learned a lot this year. A whole whole lot. Just gonna spitball.

- I am NOT a powerlifter :damn: More importantly though, I don't want to be one. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it and will dabble in it, but no way in hell am I gonna base my training around it. These guns are for show.

- No need to get fat to make strength gains. I'm really gonna pay for that mistake during this cut. I shouldn't have got bigger than 200lbs.

- It def pays to accessorize and turn up on weak parts. Carefully hitting arms 3x/week has paid dividends over the last couple of months, which leads me to another point...

- Body parts are good to go within 48 hours no problem, at least in a caloric surplus. No reason not to hit every weak body part 3x/wk outside of time.

- My legs are a beast. Back in June I was doing 295x4-5 or so on squats. Now I am doing 285x8 no problem.

Plan is to drop 40 by June, enjoy the summer and then start a controlled bulk in September. That will run through March and then I will just be on a yearly bulk/cut cycle. Just gotta do this epic cut this year.

Bike trainer came in. shyt is no joke... no rest for the weak, u stop pedaling it stops rolling :mjcry:

Been grinding and just gearing up.... cut starts in a week, lifts are looking good. Start weight will be around 220lbs, waist is probably about 37". I'm gonna end the cut once I get my waist down to 31-32", whatever weight that's gonna be at.

Hit 6x235 on bench which is a PR. Wasnt too bad. Good form and everything. Hit a PR on lat pulldowns as well. Pretty much all lifts are high. Right elbow is still bothering me a tiny bit, but I'm gonna fall back to upper body 2x/week now, especially since my nights will be freed up in the new year. Just 2 workouts during the week and 2 on the weekend (upper/lower) till my elbow feels OK, then I will probably ramp up to 3 again. It is feeling better over time so I think I just need to RICE it and go a little easier.

Im ascared brehs :lupe: Aint tryin to lose these gains

Back on my 3x upper flow. Hit chest arms and back today. I keep getting greedy with arm work. I think I need to focus less on moving up in weight and more on form and volume. I dropped tricep pushdowns all the way to 80lbs (I got up to like 105lbs before :snoop: ) and really focused on controlling the weight and locking out. The pump was IMMEDIATE. Also did 4 sets instead of 3. Really felt it brehs. Hopefully that will help me keep my arms up through this cut.

Bought a speed/cadence sensor for my bike... turns out it only works with Iphones  Just gonna get a simple wired one from the local bike shop.

Chest arms back today. I was supposed to do chest arms shoulders but w/e. Realized the knurling at my work gym is the same as it is at my home gym. Been doing damn near close grip bench for months, wondering why bench is so much harder at work :snoop: Workout went OK otherwise though.
