CABS went well

Hit legs today, got up to 275x8 on squats and put a little weight on hamstring curls. Def preferring the rotator calf machine over the calf raise machine. Not gonna jinx myself and say I want to hit XYZ at the end of the year anymore but I'm happy to be making some progress.

Like I said a million times, caffeine really works. Def gotta work in periodic deloads but it has been doing wonders for my volume. Will def lean heavily on it for this cut.

Lol not even a day later, gotta come off the caffeine wave. shyt's been fukking with my sleep pretty bad.

Trying a reconfigured split with much much much shorter sessions. Two reasons why. 1 I am really trying to go door to door from work to the gym and back in an hour (currently at about an hour 15 on a good day). 2 when I get a home gym I will be lifting at night and I won't be able to use caffeine. Caffeine keeps me plugged in for damn near 18 hours, it seems like.

Gonna fall back and just do a push/pull type split and go back to doing legs at night on some days. Hope this won't fukk up my gains too much :mjcry:

Tried something different today and it actually really worked

Did chest and legs. Hit 3x6x225 on bench supersetted with 3x8x275 on legs. Rest of the workout was relatively easy... 1 joint movement supersets. No caffeine either, felt fine but I went in around noon.

Gonna try some highly branched cyclic dextrin. Basically a super low GI carb that is good for intraworkout supplementation. Kind of a new fad, but if it keeps my energy up half as good as caffeine I will be happy. Been sleeping a whole lot better and just feeling generally better as well.

Dumping the caffeine has been working well. Sleep is a lot better and while I am missing that last edge of performance I'm not dragging ass anymore.

Gonna start having breakfast again. Pretty much the only time of day I can have these veggie shakes. I think I need a stronger blender though. The shyt I have now just doesn't juice the kale all the way to liquid. Makes the texture nasty. Might have to do spinach instead of kale as well just to start off. The kale makes shyt really bitter.

Going hard with the volume over this last month before my cut. Hitting all upper body stuff 3x/week, sticking with hitting lower body stuff 2x/week. I think once I start my cut I will just do upper compound stuff (chest/back/shoulders) 2x/week, but I will keep the arms up 3x/week. Might do legs ~1.5x/week (every 4-5 days) as biking is gonna be my main cardio.

Really hoping we can get a house sooner than later so I can get my damn home gym on. shyt will be so much more open. Upper body party 3 days a week :banderas:

Good "upper body party" yesterday

Got off to a slow start but surprisingly finished off strong. This 6 day split is a little brutal, but so far I've been able to handle it. The one thing I'm gonna do is NOT have heavy bench on my push and leg day. I just KNOW I got lucky last week and that would be something that burns me out.

Elbows and shoulders have been holding up pretty well. I think I have got my joints acclimated to more volume. Hopefully I will be able to keep hitting arms 3x/week. Got legs today

Yea Im dialing it back. Tweaked my lower back on squats today, just wasnt focused. Not used to working out at 9PM. Gonna go back to my old shyt. I can do upper body stuff around 6 or so but for squats I need all my energy and focus which I get in the afternoon. Elbows are kind of sore anyway, gonna probably chill till Sunday.
