Aw man that fast break coma :snooze:

Chest workout was OK today. HAd to rush through to get back for a meeting. Just have to take my time with this shyt. I'm fully used to BB bench again. There's a little pain in my front delts but again nothing major. Nothing really stopping me or getting in my way.

I did weighted dips again. Took a break from them for like a month or two. Shoulders just didn't feel right. My shoulders are OK now though. Only added 25#, didn't really want to push it. Just wanted to keep form right and hit triceps. Next week is mainly push so I will see how I feel w/2 days of dips.

Switched up the schedule again. I have an A/B week scheme that balances push + pull, keeps shoulders every 4-5 days, and lets me do legs all with a 4 day split. Can't complain AT ALL. Lifts are making little gains too.

Getting fukking sick of ON chocolate malt. I think I'm gonna get plain chocolate next time. At the concentration I do this shyt at its too fukking sweet.

Did back + biceps yesterday. Meh, decent workout I guess. Gonna see a doctor soon though, feeling low testy. Zero zero zero sex drive, some lifts have been dropping. Gonna try zinc and adding more fat to my diet (Friday night baby back ribs :noah:).

Also swam yesterday. Said "fukk it" and tried flippers. Man, WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I did 15 laps. First 5 were just to get used to them. Next 5, I did 3 breaststroke (w/flutter kicks), 1 w/the paddleboard, and then 1 w/no flippers. Repeated again for the last 5. I really liked it. W/the flippers everything with the feet gets exaggerated, so I actually was able to kick better when I took them off as I built a little muscle memory. The speed too :noah: I swim faster just kicking w/flippers than with my whole body. But now I can swim a lot better without the flippers too.

Biggest thing though was breathing. Before I pretty much couldnt breathe at all, so I would have to hold my breath and then stop mid lap (the pool is only 15 yards long). W/the flippers I got the confidence and speed to breathe on breast stroke. Technique is still not 100% obviously, but I can do the full length of the pool now, breathing, with or without flippers which is huge for me. Swimming is def gonna be my go to for cardio now. Only thing is timing it right so I give my elbows enough time to recover. I don't think I can do a push day and then go swim 20 laps.

Got chest this afternoon. Looking forward to it.

Got the front crawl kind of down w/o the flippers. I was not getting my body enough oxygen. I was breathing on every other stroke. Now I breathe on every stroke. Thing to do now is keep working on my kicks, and get more power/displacement on my breathing stroke. Rhythm isn't 100%. I made crazy progress though. I learned more about swimming in the last 2-3 weeks than in the last 1-2 years. What I'm hoping now is to keep building the endurance so once we move to a real pool I can do full laps. I'm nowhere near there yet.

Been doing some research on some things. Gains are coming though. But next year I might enlist some help.

Chest day was good. Flat bench is improving slowly but surely. One thing I'm noticing about fasted training; I can do more volume, but my intensity isn't as high. I lost like 10lbs on some exercises (rows and weighted dips). I am up on some isos though (up to 100lbs on upright rows, curling + tricep cable pushing ~80).

Switched to a primarily liquid diet. I'm doing it to get more control over calories and nutrients. Also just got fukking tired of blowing so much money and wasting so much time thinking about food. I still have full real meals every now and then, and when I do I can really indulge. Like I can have a rack of ribs, and just not have fat for a few days and the net effect is normal. Some interesting things are happening though.

First off despite keeping calories in a net surplus my weight is down, I think largely due to the big drop in sodium intake ---> water weight. Strength is OK so I think it's just water.

BMs are less frequent/voluminous but they are healthy.

Not getting the hunger pangs I used to.

I am still waiting for some vitamins I ordered... I didn't want to fukk with some off the shelf CVS shyt as it looks like the cheap shyt's ingredients have low bioavailability. I didn't want to fukk with a whole bunch of individual supplements either. Once I get that I'm set.

Working out carbed up feels so much better than depleted. So much beddah[/window shoppa]

Got off that liquid diet bullshyt. Man that shyt was awful, truly nauseating. It worked on paper though. I will definitely be more consistent with eating now. Just need to figure out what to eat on off days for lunch.

Swim game is improving every trip. I can do 30 yards with flippers and I am learning how to move more efficiently without them. I'm still scared as fukk to swim in a full size pool though. I think I will have to learn how to tread water before doing full on laps there.

Still trying to figure out the best routine. I am thinking about just doing a full upper body workout 3x/week. 2 days compounds 1 day accessories. Then 1 day of legs. I feel like I tried that before and it bombed, but now with this fasted training shyt my recovery is much stronger/faster. I have been hitting body parts every 48 hours no problem, but only twice a week. Main thing I want to do this for is to get my bench numbers up.
