Good leg day. Hit 3x8x255 on squats and managed to do some calf work. I think my foot is healing slowly, just have to take it easy and wear the right shoes.

Incorporating some speed work in as well. Threw 4 plates on the leg press and just banged out 20 reps as quickly as possible. Nowhere near as easy as it sounds. I might do something similar for flat bench and rows... just do a "burnout" set after my working sets. Might give me the stimulus I want for more gains.

Lower back is kind of bothering me

My love handle game is gettin a lil crazy :to: I know how to get it off quickly though so I'm not worried. Waist is only 33" and weight is up to 193, plus I have gains to show for it.

Since Im lifting 5 days a week I have that extra day of extra calories. Plus less activity since I've moved. Still gotta rein in the diet a bit I guess to keep the bulk clean.

Finally hit 2x10x205 on flat bench. I don't give a fukk about the 3rd set, I'm only good for like 5-6 reps on that even w/a 4 minute rest :ehh: Might drop the weight and do a burnout or bands set for that.

Got up to +65 on dips a while back but it's hell on my shoulders and really unnecessary. I'm gonna keep it at +45 and just rep the fukk out. Keep my elbows tucked and hit the triceps nice.

Switched to 1 arm rows for pulldowns and seated rows. My left lat is way bigger than my right one :aicmon:

Went back to behind the neck presses. Them shyts be callin me :noah: Making progress on them too :yeshrug:

Still pretty doughy but I gotta keep the fat on to keep making gains. I got it under control. It will come off easy when the time calls for it.

Thought about an early morning fasted workout... then I got hit with that PANG. :whoa: fukk that. Cream of Wheat only takes 2 minutes :pachaha:

Dropping down to 6-8 reps on compounds. Bench was 205x10, 10, 6 last time... gonna see if I can hit 3x8x205 today and if so move up to 215. I think I could hit like 8, 7, 6 on that now. That might be the better way to 225.

Dropping the reps worked. I hit 8x205 easy, so then I threw on another 5, hit 8x210 easy, and then hit 7x215. I think I should be able to do 3x8x215 Friday no problem. Also bumped the weight and dropped to 8 reps on row stuff. 1 hand pull downs are fukking rough. I might go back to 2 hands on that.

Currently weighed in at 195.8. Looking back I have been averaging weight gains of about 3lb/month. A little more than I like but they are coming with strength gains (esp in my legs). I'm hoping to continue in that fashion until the end of the year and then cut down.

Thinking about how to switch up the flow for my elbows. Either doing the full upper body 2x/wk instead of 3, or going back to 2 body parts per day. I like the 2x/week flow as that will give everything more recovery time. But the 3x/wk x 2 parts/day flow will let me get more overall volume while still giving my triceps (the aggravated tendons) more time to recover (if I do push on Monday and Friday). I think I will try the 3x2 flow first.

Weighed in at 195.8 this morning... doesn't really look like anything was lost; just maintaining now. Hard thing about being down here letting my elbows recover is between the lake and the pool I find myself in the water every day. I'm actually hoping it rains a little bit. Waiting for my partner to get me some shyt so I can get some work done as well. Anyways being in the pool = swimming which hasn't been as bad on my elbows since I took a lifting break, but is still a little stressful.

My left foot seems to be healing up pretty well now... usually swimming aggravates it but yesterday I prob swam damn near a mile trying to stay with a drifting boat and didn't feel any pain or aggravation at all. Def keeping rides to a minimum and not riding at all at night.

Just weighed in at 196.4 after breakfast and a sheit. Trying creatine.

Upper body day Thursday. Hit 215 x 8, 7, 6 on flat bench. Now that I am only doing upper body 2x/wk I am going to push a little harder and go to failure if I have to. Also gonna throw squats back in the mix for leg days... I actually enjoy doing them. Leg press is good but just not as satisfying. I might just use them for burnout sets.

Upper body day went nice

Hit 215x8,8,6 on flat bench so I am like right there.

I'm gonna try 215 next week... hopefully it will be the last time. Then I will FINALLY move up to 225 for more than 5 reps at a time. Everything else went well too. My shoulders are actually a little sore... i must have hit them well.

Did legs Tuesday and upper body accessory today

Leg day was OK. Really trying to hone in squat form. Might have to change the order up on my leg workout... though I guess I am not sore afterwards. Just rough squatting and then immediately doing RDLs after.

Upper body accessory day was cool. Nice little deload. Pretty much all my accessories are up which I'm guessing means I'm experiencing growth.
