Control the weight, don't let it control you :damn:

Started holding the weight at the top of shoulder raises. Might do that for upright rows too. Sticking point right now is biceps... specifically standing curls. I think I am gonna drop the weight and keep the ROM in a range that keeps the muscles under constant tension, rather than letting the BB drop to the bottom. Try and keep my arms closer to that 90 degree angle as much as possible.

shyt is movin since I got serious about legs again

Back on the full routine now since the holidays are over... weight was up to 194 when I last checked... fukkin heavy but my legs are def glycogen'd up which is good for a few lbs. Def gotta figure something out for biceps, standing curls are just not the wave for me.

*EDIT* O yea... wanted to remind myself... need to get a set of clips and handles for optimum grip on rows

Imma go even further.... Three body parts a day....one compound, other two accessories. 3x week, lite, hopefully more growth. Still less volume than the shyt I was on before but I feel like I have more in the tank when I leave. Just wanna see how far I can push before recovery suffers. Like I just did shoulders and biceps yesterday and I feel like I could do em again tomorrow. fukk it :damn:

Yea I had it right before... this workout was :ahh:... the 4 sets on accessories :noah: I had to drop weight on the unilateral overhead pulldowns though... get that squeeze at the bottom of the reps

Also had to start on dips cold which was a bad idea

Overall a good workout though, sticking with what works... 3 compounds, 3 isos, good to go

Getting more technical w/the lifts.... figuring out points of max tension on accessory lifts and slowing down at peak tension points during eccentric part of lift. No more blasting through, we are controlling the weight and maximizing muscle stimulation. 4-5 sets on accessories is also working pretty well. I still want to give fasted training a go, for like a good month or so. But I will transition to that later.

Good back/triceps workout last night. Gonna get rid of seated cable rows, but not sure what to replace them with. I switched trap rows with seated Hammer Strength rows... I think I might just complete the Hammer strength trilogy and throw in an underhand overhead iso movement. I was surprised by the low leverage on the seated HS rows... its pretty much 1 to 1, whereas the overheads are like 1 to 1.5-2.

Little nagging pain in the rotator cuff area from sleeping weird. Should be good for tomorrow's shoulder/biceps day.

Also gonna try and do 4 sets on everything, compounds too. I was in and out in an hour yesteday.

Going to try cable curls on Thursday

I think that will close the loop... Only freeweight exercises I do now are curls, upright rows and presses...everything else is Hammer Strength or cables :merchant:

Not sure what to make of that. Might try machines for chest presses tomorrow for the hell of it :ehhh:
