i find it funny, because rick ross is the exact opposite of these chitown rappers. he's a gangsta rapper who actually has that real gangsta mentality. you never see him making this illiterate type of rap and dumb ass shyt. even a goon asss song like hold me back has a hustling and get money type of focus. none of that senseless banb bang shyt. nikka is straight boss mode. right now, meek mill is 10000000x better than these chitown rappers, and that's probably because ross took him under his wing and got his mind right. you can tell meek has definitely matured as a both an artist and man.

i don't see how any real trap nikka can co-sign this chitown rap. it's the exact opposite of trap music and the real trap.

I might not like it but YouTube hits are a way more Democratic way of deciding who should get distribution.. Its better than an A&R finding someone out of thin air and the label going the payola route with radio...

It more grass roots... The problem is these young nikkas don't like the same quality of music that previous eras did...
