They just had an all time team that I feel is getting underrated by the media/fans.
It’s gonna be one of those things that 10 years from now we gonna look at the 24 eagles in a special light. Especially if they win another title.
Now that the dust has settled, I'm seeing more people ackowledge this as a Legendary team already. I saw a list that said the 2024 Eagles are now the Best Super Bowl team of the Century thus far. When you start digging into the numbers, it's hard to not say this wasn't the Greatest Eagles Team of all Time. 18 wins is tied for the most in NFL History (84 49ers, 85 Bears, 07 Perfect Pats) Even better than the 2017, and 2004 teams and I love those teams. They were even better than the 2022 team that went to the Bowl. #1 Rushing Offense in NFL History. Most Points in Post Season History. Most Turnovers in the playoffs, #1 Defense (I said during the season it was 90's level and it was). Jalen breaking all kinds of Playoff and Super Bowl Records.
Did you know that Jalen has the highest completion percentage in Super Bowl History? Most Rushing TD's in Super Bowl history? He broke the QB Rushing Super Bowl Record in back to back Super Bowls. That's why I laughed at the Chiefs, "We shutdown Saquon". Yet the Eagles rushed for over 135 total yards because they didn't stop Jalen. That's why I'm laughing at dudes that were wrong on Jalen having so much copium right now that he's Super Bowl MVP. The question is, what should be the "Statue" from this season? Jalen's dagger to Devonta? Saquon reverse Hurdle?. Some are even saying the "Tush push" should be made a statue. This team deserves a statue.

From what I’m seeing, people are calling them a super team right now. CBS called the Eagles the most dominant Super Bowl champion of the last 25 years.
I see a lot of similarities between the eagles and the current day Boston Celtics. We knew they were talented but after the chip other fan bases lost their minds saying how unfair we got Saquon and Boston got Jrue/Porzingis. Both franchises know how to find diamonds in the rough. Both have young nucleus, incredible front offices etc
What I’m seeing a lot is people downplaying Hurts almost like folks do Tatum. As if they both could be replaced by anybody and the team still wins
Said it in real time, a big part of that was by design. When you have the #1 scoring defense and a 2K rusher that means a lot of 2nd halves where you're just chewing clock and trying to wrap things up. There's just no need to force the issue, when they felt compelled to open it up (vs Pittsburgh and their run D, NFCCG, SB) the passing game did whatever they wanted. We've already had a season where Jalen was a runner up in MVP voting, the passing offense was 8th in yards, and he dumped 300 yards on Spags head in a Super Bowl. We know what's in the tank, it's the casual talking heads that had to fill airtime acting like it's still 2021 and he's "unproven".I wanna be fair
Saquon carried the offense all season & Jalen had a C/C- season overall
Jalen played his best the last 2 games but that's what we needed to win the SB...we knew teams would sell out to stop the run & we'd have to make them pay through the air...luckily, we did that in the NFCCG & SB
If Jalen puts up 225-250 pass yds per game on top of our run game, we're the most dominant team EVER
I just want Jalen to play to a higher standard bc those 130 yd pass games were not cutting it
I think we need to rely on Saquon less next season so we need our pass game to be consistently good
