Brady talked about this. How he came into the league and immediately won 3 championships in 4 seasons before going ghost until 2007 and getting that wake up call from the Giants, and then again in 2011. At a certain point he was just like "damn i guess this is actually really hard/rare".
Think about it, 7 Straight AFC Championship, 5 Super Bowl Appearances in 7 years. That is unheard of to start a career. Pat was like "Damn, I'm about to get my 4th already" and that sh!t just came crashing down. He even recovered from that Bucs blowout and went back to 3 straight Super Bowls and 4 more AFC Championships. It's a good wake up call because the NFL used to stand for "Not for long" meaning you don't win for long and someone new always rises up. Elway got blown out in 3 Super Bowls before finally winning two. Steve Young was in Montana's shadow for years before he finally won one without him. So many people have lost Super Bowls and never got back. That's why what Jalen just did was so historical.
Again, though Brady did go to two Super Bowls during his Decade drought, he still lost them and if not for a stupid Pete Carroll call or a Falcons collapse, we would talking about Brady losing 5 Super Bowls in row (Giants Twice, Seahawks, Falcons and Eagles still beat him in this scenario, lol). My overall point is Pat's career will be fine and I believe he will return back to the Bowl again one day because I do not trust the AFC to clean him up. But I could see him possibly having a Drought and not winning one for a few years because what if Andy or Travis retires and the league is getting younger. None of this stuff is guaranteed.
