We would need to revamp the agriculture business somehow. Some foods will be expensive as hell.

That then brings up the question.. does the system need to be revamped regardless? Because if it cant stand up without illegal cheap labor then its a problem right?

Kick out all illegals... build more private prisons... jail more people of color... make them do the work that illegals were doing for even less money than they were paying the illegals in the first place.... the rich get richer....

It's definitely one of those issues that are dictated by the politics of the city. If there is a large Hispanic population the mayors etc don't want to create waves. The churches are for it for moral reasons etc. Everyone else because it's a way to oppose Trump policies.

At the end of the day all it means is that the city isn't going to help enforce immigration policies such as requesting immigration status during traffic stops etc.

My feeling is that it's cool unless the federal government is able to withhold federal funds to the cities based on their refusal to follow the policies. At that point you're hurting innocent people (legal immigrants and citizens) at the expense of illegal.
