We live in a country trillions of dollars in debt and yall out here caping for cities like NYC who share that debt spending more money to support people living here illegally...

How about black children CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY starving in the hood bruh? How bout we start talking about deferring some of those funds to get those kids something to eat and get them off the streets?

I just told you that more of your tax dollars are being spent patrolling/deporting/apprehending them.

If tax dollars were really your concern, then more deportations really wouldn't be your answer.

Furthermore, current federal leadership thinks more of your tax dollars should be taken from supporting you and put into patrolling/deporting/apprehending them.

The federal debt has nothing to do with local municipalities, and even then with limited budgets, why would you want cities using funds to enforce federal laws, when they can barely support the citizens they have?

That said I have NEVER advocated for mass deportation like cheeto and the rethugs are doing...I'm on record in countless threads including this one stating I don't believe in deporting folks that can support themselves...Some of these people are genuinely here to work and are educated enough to do so without being a burden on the tax payer...Those people should be allowed to live and work here and should also be given a path to citizenship...No reason why someone living here for 5 years with a clean record that can speak, write and read the language of the land can't obtain citizenship...That has to change and that would solve a lot of our problems...

My issue is with illegals who cannot support themselves and become a burden for the tax payer like myself living in a city like NYC...I would rather these people be deported then live here eating away at funds that should be spent on Americans...I don't want ANY MONEY going towards supporting illegals...We have too many problem here at home to be wasting funds feeding and sheltering illegals...If you are not a citizen or documented you are entitled to NOTHING in this country...The American tax payer doesn't owe you a job, food, healthcare or a roof over your head...

This is a small minority of the illegals in America. It wouldn't make sense to harm/inconvenience the rest of us to search for these people. Same way it doesn't make sense to throw out other public services cause some people might take advantage.

There are no exact numbers to find pertaining to only immigration.

If American spending on law enforcement/incarceration far outpaces spending on social services for everybody, then its logical to extrapolate that, that reality extends to immigrants.
