Just got an email from Samsung. Replacement phones will be in no later than September 21st of this month. I'll just hold onto mines until then.

I'm gonna check with my local sprint store tomorrow. That nikka had told me to expect the replacement phones on Monday, and that was before anything official had been said by CPSC. I'm just glad to have some resolution to this, cause Sprint didn't really have anything available now that I was willing to exchange for. I'd have looked at the V20 but they weren't even sure if they were getting it.

I keep the headphones..I should keep that USB connector too...I got 3 pair of Samsung headpbones...Note 5, note 7, and S7 edge now.

I'm going to return the phone, the charger, the usb cable, and the box. I'm going to pretend to have forgotten the two USB adapters and if they say something I'll tell them to take them out of the new phone's box.

Yeah they can have the USB cable and charger back...I don't want to give back that regular USB connector..the Note 7 has the USB C connector. T mobile never says shyt.

Going to check Best Buy today. Before CPSC became involved, they were supposed to receive the new phones last Friday or Saturday (and in fact had a truck allegedly delivering some that Friday). Hoping that they just had them sitting in the back and, now that they've been approved, they can distribute
