$50 dollars a cut is outrageous. If the dude was really a hustler, he’d start a subscription based program where he discounts haircuts and at a monthly interval mails out black male hair care products. Charging 50$ when the average going rate is just a bad business model that will prove to unsustainable over the long term.

I grew up paying 10-15 dollars for a haircut. Never in my life paid anything over that. I'm bald anyway but, I shape up my own beard.

I respect the hustle but no way in hell I'm paying 35-50 dollars for a cut.

Its more than I would ever pay for a cut but I’m not knocking him. He cuts well and has a following so he shouldn’t have any problem making money, people like to look good and they’ll justify the cost. Cleanest taper I ever got was in a shop in Salvador Brazil on vacation, it was the equivalent of 10 usd including a tip
