Because of Colin's protest, a lot of people have been exposed to the fact that Francis Scott Key was a racist and that there is a 3rd verse of the Star Spangled Banner about slavery, because their schools didn't teach them about it.

So Colin's protest actually made an impact. :lupe:.

Its disgusting how pro-america schools are and how they clearly hide certain parts of american history to make white feel good about themselves.

First of all, props to Kaep for standing up for what he believes in.

Second, this pretty much shows me that the sports media has always been full of garbage when it comes to black athletes, especially ESPN. On one breath, the talking heads want to harp on black athletes for not taking more of a stand on black issues, but when they do make a stand it's "shut up and play ball." "you should be grateful" and that other garbage, especially with what had happened during those past months. That BS townhall meeting last week should tell you all you need to know.
