I like what he's trying to do, and I appreciate that he is trying to stand up and fight for what he believes and everything. I just think it was a bad idea for him, especially in the NFL.

He should have left in in the communities, and in the media, and getting out and supporting groups and ppl. But to do this on "their" stage will just end up biting himself in the ass.

He ain't a star player, he's a below,average qb, getting paid above average salary. He's just asking to be cut, and possibly blackballed.

Either way, I hope it was worth it for him.

Keep in mind Kaep has been injured and only started throwing 3 weeks ago. Blaine has had much more time with the offense and he's just marginally better.

He played like shyt last season no doubt. But he was injured. NFL don't care what u did 5 years ago, but it wasn't 5 years ago that Kaep was a decent QB, its more recent than that. Guys like Gabbert are given more opportunities to be trash, than a guy like Kaep, who was in a Super Bowl, and has battled injuries recently. There's literally no reason why there should be a QB competition in SF, other than the obvious, because Gabbert looks the part
