It makes BILLIONS of dollars in televsion ratings, Television Advertisment, merchidising, beer and food sales. Bars sales, Live Game Ticket and concession sales, the whole nine. You really thought this drama wasn't going to bleed into the season? Espeically when these incidents have happen in places with Teams associated with it (Dallas, Minny, Baton R. etc). In the end I expect more players to be speaking out as the year goes on in different ways. They all don't have to protest the flag but a unified statement would be nice. The point is Colin wrong to say America isn't right with how Black People are being treated? Especially when Blacks have fought in every single war and have given huge sacifices for this country including working for free for mutilple centuries. We are also continuing the long march and fight to freedom which inturn helps everyone and not just us. At the end of the day, like Jesse, Colin is risking his career and money and I respect them both for that reguardless if they lightskin brothas.

Yeah that's all well and good but this is the NFL. Nobody cares about what he did 5 years ago. The bottom line is he played HORRIBLE last year. It looked like he never even knew the plays. Harbaugh coached the shyt out of him and since he left he's been awful..

Because in this era of Black athletes, NOBODY else will stand with him. So he's gonna be alone in this. And that means no post-career jobs, no major coaching, no nothing on a major scale

I won't be surprised if he apologizes soon. Doesn't mean he truly apologizes. White people as a whole aren't patriotic as they pretend, they just play along.
