Not really with bold a lot,of teams do this and being San Diego has a military presence I'm not surprised honestly. Maybe you just ain't up on things so it seems like that to you. I won't 100% say that's not whats going on but with what I know about SD and 9-11 so close I'm not surprised it could just be coincidence. She was holding down his teammate too
The Chargers just so happen to be saluting the military during their game vs. the Niners and having a serviceman sing the anthem. So fukking transparent
Beautiful isn't it? The sad thing is that it will be ignored by the media tomorrow morning. What can anybody say negative about this? These vets are fukking up every racists argument. They have no counter for #VeteransforKaepernick#VeteransForKaepernick Worldwide trending on Twitter
You're right the NBA is more star oriented and that gives the players more leeway to voice their opinion but even so, the amount of NFL players that vehemently oppose Kaep is not surprising. It's one thing to not come out in support for him, it's another to come out and oppose him. The legion of retired and active NFL players coming out of the woodworks to shyt on Kaep shows the disconnect between a contingency of black NFL players and our reality. I don't expect much from NBA players either but I definitely wouldn't expect them to come out and passionately oppose one of their own fighting for a cause that should be easy to understand.
