another uncle tom :scust:
I don't see that as being an Uncle Tom at all. While I appreciate those who voice their opinion, i also appreciate those who shut the thirsty ass media up. These cats out here chomping at the bit for a sound bite from a black coach in order to construct the narrative in a way that causes division. Tomlin didn't give them any control, they can gladly be on their way to look for the next person to frame an argument for.

Top Tending Topic Worldwide. Tons of Military Vets coming out to support Keap. Yes it's mostly Black soliders but I see some white and other races too. I like the fact the narrative is changing. Of course they would make this "He's attacking the Military" instead of talking about what he's actually attacking. Forcing White Ameirca at large to address Racism and White Supremacy is like trying to give Superman Kryptonite. As for the "NFL Summer Jam Screen" we've been seeing. Goes to show you how many sellouts there are in the NFL that will take a check over the dignity of their own race. It's sad. Yeah I'm done with a lot of pre/post-game shows B.S. too cause of some of these fools have exposed themselves to no end. LOL @ Ben Rothisburger trying to go in on Colin. Or Boomer, Or Brees. This is a joke. All the Black proball players with White Wives (Peep they nights lives - NaS) all are against Colin, I wonder why that is? I have nothing against interracial relationships. I have a problem when a Black person dates interracially and all the sudden they start to hate on their own race.

One of the bronco fanboys on this board had the nerve to come at me for my growing disinterest in the NFL...I think it was @Ineedmoney504 ....keep fawning over this league, its bullshyt business practices, poor treatment of players, c00ns, massa's, CTE, concussions, and everything in between...the NFL is definitely one of the entities that changed a lot to me over the past ~8 years. The rise of the 24/7 news cycle exposed a lot of bullshyt from this league and its employees

I'm talking about you..,in a previous thread...insinuating my disinterest in the NFL was because the Niners aren't winning. My loss of interest has stemmed from multiple things, this wasn't even an issue when that thread was made... nor does it have anything to do with the nba....

Both sports are bad but the NFL breeds this type of culture. Look at the star players in the NBA and then look at the star players in the NFL.

Wtf does this even mean? It's 2 type of sports. One is superstar dominated and the other is team dominated. So the nba players should be able to push more since they have the bigger platform, but they don't. They had a chance when sterling got expose and they did nothin.

So what type of culture is this? This is grown men giving they opinion, a lot of them are retired, that's they feelings, it's has nothin to due wit the nfl. Half of these nfl players damn near never talk to the media, your average good nba player does every night, but they are policed to the T, and shut up. Talking bout the same league that put a dress code in place to directly opposing young black men.

It does still seem true. This has no indictment on the league, u taking bout what analyst and shyt is saying. Has the league suspended him, fined him or condemned him? No some people are backing and some aren't, a lot of them are playing the fence, that's they issue, but we the people need to support kap, right now he in a QB battle, I'm hoping the best for him, would even love for him to be on the Broncos.

You're right the NBA is more star oriented and that gives the players more leeway to voice their opinion but even so, the amount of NFL players that vehemently oppose Kaep is not surprising. It's one thing to not come out in support for him, it's another to come out and oppose him. The legion of retired and active NFL players coming out of the woodworks to shyt on Kaep shows the disconnect between a contingency of black NFL players and our reality. I don't expect much from NBA players either but I definitely wouldn't expect them to come out and passionately oppose one of their own fighting for a cause that should be easy to understand.

Best thing about this whole controversy is that it gives you a clear picture about who is on what side of the conversation.
No diplomatic answers here
I'll never look at victor cruz or drew brees the same way and I legit liked those dudes but I can't rock with their stance on this

NFL is different than the NBA though
Lebron and co could do more than they have done but it would be too controversial but someone like Kaep who is on his way out of the league yeah this is right up his alley
