I said white people respect them now. Just like Ali caught shyt for things he said and done at the time he did it, but they respect what Ali did and said now.

The cac probably caught strays cuz he was friends with Tommie and John and was actually suppose to do the protest with them. He decided not to at the last minute, cuz he thought all the press and attention would be about why this white Australian doing a black power symbol, and not about what Tommie and John were doing.

This whole situation has exposed so many of these former athletes and commentators true colors that from this point on i dont think i could stomach watching any sort of pre-game, post-game, or highlight show. Ive pretty much lost respect for all but a handful of people who cover sports for a living and dont feel comfortable supporting them or even listening to any crap that comes out of their mouth now.

In recent years i had already cut back on watching most NFL pre-game shows so it wont be much of a change to just cut them off completely.
