SMF and LAX to VA and NC
I don't agree with gangbangin and don't like seeing it glorified and it's really something that needs to die. However, admittedly I like looking at old gang photos. I follow Jap and We Love LA County on IG. Great history on those accounts.

I don't agree with it anymore either but there has always been a lane for profiling the history of it, and of all the big Cali cities, Sac is the only one who seems to have gotten shut out of the spotlight. So I appreciate someone taking the time to start this, for those into the history it's a good look!

Off topic, but what exactly is Sacramento like? I don't have a frame of reference for it like I do with LA or the Bay

Size: it's an Austin or San Antonio-sized city...

It has a slower pace than Coastal California cities, but has a pretty wide sphere of influence along the 5 corridor from Redding to Stockton, from Fairfield on the west to Reno in the east. That circumference I just outlined, is a region of over 6 million people where Sacramento is "the city", the primary city of commerce and culture and government...

I've noticed people who haven't traveled much, especially Coastal Californians, think of Sacramento as a small town, but it's a large city...

It has its own vibe and culture, but in the current day is carries plenty of Bay influence. Lotta older heads and families have ties to SoCal; heads and families who moved here post-2000 or so, tend to have more Bay ties. Overall it's a decent mix of both but Bay influence is stronger than LA influence at present, but still with that said Sac has a uniqueness of its own...

Every place in California has always had gangs, Sac's gang history dates back to the 40s (at least). The introduction of Bloods and Crips just replaced what was already here, and the introduction of Bay-style hybrids meshed with the B/C culture...

Sac isn't that wild of a city, not by California or national standards. There's some hotspots that are known to steer clear of, but its not a city where the drama and killings are outta control (currently 34 murders this year). It's actually pretty easy to stay outta the way in Sac...the modern hybrid gangbanging model is similar to Chicago and the 2010s era youngins and after are VERY influenced by Chicago music and trends. They gave the Southside the nickname "Iraq" lol...

But it's a dope city with gorgeous women of all stripes and plenty of shyt to do...

You behind the YouTube page with the same name? Or are you jackin homie style

Nah it's a homeboy from Strawberry Mob running the page, one of my brothers and I talked about doing something like this a few years ago but never actualized the plan, so I'm just highlighting someone who did!
