I like the Ryback character a lot, but he's far from polished enough for a serious run. However, in the interest of #fukkery , it makes sense that he's where he's at. Aside from last night's crowd sounding Impact Zone status a few times, he gets great reactions.

They put the title on Alberto, with all sort of in-ring ability, but no heat whatsoever. He had Vince on his side, which is all he needed. Now Ryback has Vince AND a majority of the crowd on his side, so it makes perfect sense that he's in this situation.

Ryback needs that mc donalds/ kfc commercial. They get nervous just before opening hours.. then he appears.. creativity from there

Agreed. It'd go along better with them trying to sell him as some kind of animalistic type to use a pounce/gore type maneuver. It's rare to get a Stan Hansen/JBL that can make a clothesline look like a game ender.

He's either not as strong as he looks or not used to safely doing explosive lifts because he keeps looking unnatural with his power moves.

We'll see tho.

This, and he still gets Goldberg chants, I still :beli: over him getting the HITC main event, I mean Kane, Show, Bryan, Dolph, Del Rio, he just springboards s over, and he doesn't even have any backing, and is boring as fukk, never has someone been pushed on us like this.

Cena: Hurt
Kane and D-Bry: Tag Title Match and storyline
Big Show: WHC match w/Sheamus
Del Rio and Dolph: both heels that had zero interaction with Punk
Miz: Heel who has had his own issues
Kofi: IC Title holder, former Tag Champ with Punk
Of all those, the only one that could make sense is Kingston. Then again, the WWE throws logic, reasoning, and common sense in the :trash: during their decision making. Goes to show, as I've said time and time again, how thin they are with Faces.

His spear as Sheffield was dope too... he's not strong enough to consistently hit the shell shock.. dude has to do a "1, 2, 3, jump!" to get his opponent up.... doesn't help that the move is more complex to set up than an f5 or AA ....

I keep trying to tell people that Goldberg was a fukking freak of nature. I knew this as a little kid and seeing his first match. Dude did a backflip in that one too.

Peep 3:04

Dude was holding multiple 220+ pounders in the vertical suplex position with one arm before Jackhammering them. I remember a lot of his moves being combo slams too...like a gorilla press drop to over-the-shoulder powerslam. Goldberg just had a lot of clean, functional power. Like...enough endurance strength to counter-balance his fast-twitch explosive strength.

Ryback strikes me as a guy with more explosive strength, but less endurance. He kind of huffs around the ring and does things in short spurts. Nowhere near the athlete that Goldberg was.
