To me, with guys like this, it doesn't even matter who the better wrestler is. The real wrestlers will either be featured elsewhere on the card, or carrying guys like Goldberg and Ryback to passable matches.

There was huge money in Goldberg, and there could potentially be huge money in Ryback ... but it has nothing to do with their wrestling ability in either case. Goldberg knew what his talents were and was able to capitalize on them, and make a lot of money in a relatively short career. Ryback should focus on the same thing.

I do respect the point Ryback makes about actually being a fan of the business, though.

This guy has been trying to Ryback since 2009, did not know that:

Look how much smaller he was :wow:

Starcade 98. Ok so not really the whole Kliq but the WCW half at-least.

lol, that's not jobbing to me, it was one loss out of a 200 matches, but yeah he did lose to Nash. He owned Triple H in WWE.

I see why Ryback feels like he had to address this, yet it sucks that his current gimmick is basically a mockery of the Goldberg character. Ryback should really just worry about putting in that work to make himself unique. He appreciates the business probably more than Goldberg, but in terms of being a better wrestler these next couple of months will put that to the test. There's a lot of pressure on him already if he gets the HIAC main event. I really wanna see what he can do in a match that lasts more than 5 minutes. Once they take away the streak from him we will find out what The Ryback is really all about.

I never understood the hate for Goldberg's in-ring skills. This dude moveset to me always had me like :ohhh: and always made sure to watch a match of his. The shyt he was doing was :mindblown: Motherfukker was doing back flips and lifting up Paul Wight with ease. I'm down with the Ryback movement, but :aicmon: with this, Goldberg could go 20+ minutes in a match, even though he had other great workers to make him look great, he held his own with them, and wasn't blown up or completely carried in matches. '98 Goldberg is a top 5-10 babyface ever imo.
