Sorry, but Ryback would wish he was on the same level talentwise as Goldberg. He can boast about being "better than the Great Kahli", but that's about it...

Its not even close. Goldberg doesn't get enough credit. He just wanted everything to look real and hard hitting so people shyt on him. Not saying he was a great wrestler but he wasn't awful by any means.

I don't ever remember him botching it up on live television -if he decided a guy was going to get jackahammered, they did.

Goldberg is also far more physically intimidating then Ryback, he just seemed crazy as fukk and he was like 6'5, ryback looks like he is like 5'10 lol.

This. Goldberg gets so much unwarranted hate. He was always decent in the ring, never great. His matches had you watching, leaving thoroughly entertained. :manny:

Can't say the same for this bootleg Goldberg wearing RVD's tights.

I've never seen Goldberg botch his finisher
:whoo:
Here is the entire streak, and he had to pick up some big fukkers: Big Show, Hugh Morrus (looking especially bloated later in the vid), Wrath, Reese, Meng, Nash, Scott Norton, etc.. Who is Ryback picking up? Primo :childplease:

You were always waiting for him to just explode even when he was down, I don't feel that here with ryback. And I don't hate the kid, it's just not the same at all.

Goldberg responds
Bill Goldberg addressed Ryback's critical remarks in WWE Magazine regarding comparisons between the two wrestlers via Twitter Sunday.

In the interview, Ryback proclaimed to be a better wrestler and athlete than Goldberg ever was. Goldberg, who played in the National Football League, particularly took issue with the WWE Superstar proclaiming himself as the better athlete.

"Better athlete? Come on dude wake up.....," Goldberg tweeted.

In a remark re-tweeted by Goldberg, former WCW colleague Scotty Riggs stated, "Take it as a complement that the kid is unsuccessfully trying to outshine you!!"

Former WCW announcer Mark Madden also noted earlier, "Ryback thinks he's superior to @Goldberg? Ryback is a Xerox of a Xerox. Goldberg was an organic phenomenon. We'll see how Ryback winds up."

Goldberg wrote "Case closed!" in response to the following remark: "Ryback is a better athlete than @Goldberg? I don't remember seeing Ryback play in the NFL. #ShowSomeRespect."

Yes... he supposed to be a terminator knockoff not a Goldberg one. This just seems like theyre setting up a match down the road though

Correct. WWE seems to have transitioned to a plant the seeds type of booking lately... they're throwing random shyt against the wall (esp w/ Shefback) and seeing what will stick and generate a lot of interest...

I never understood the hate for Goldberg's in-ring skills. This dude moveset to me always had me like :ohhh: and always made sure to watch a match of his. The shyt he was doing was :mindblown: Motherfukker was doing back flips and lifting up Paul Wight with ease. I'm down with the Ryback movement, but :aicmon: with this, Goldberg could go 20+ minutes in a match, even though he had other great workers to make him look great, he held his own with them, and wasn't blown up or completely carried in matches. '98 Goldberg is a top 5-10 babyface ever imo.

His
WCW/NWO Revenge moveset was fire :myman: On as raw strength level I only see Cena fukking with him...

Regal Benz or Bentley had Goldberg flopping round on the mat though :heh:

Exactly... Ryback hasn't said more than 10 words on TV and now he's giving in depth interviews? Sounds cooked up to me. Even if its legit, its not going in the WWE mag without a purpose

He's not better than Goldberg in any way but it doesn't matter because he's quickly becoming the top face in the company outpopping Cena in the arena (poet and didn't know it :leon:) and getting more votes in polls. :pachaha:

Doesn't really take too much to be a better wrestler than Goldberg.

wrestling isnt about who the best wrestler is,

its about who call sell themselves the most

goldberg had a damn good gimmick
