My point is, the media scrutiny for a black athlete doing the same would open the door to the Dan Patricks of the world as an invitation to talk guns and black culture. We've seen it played out time and time again. When they decide to shut up and let people live like they're allowing Ryan's wife, then one can call shyt fair

but I haven't heard of any black athlete that has been talked about in regards to a similar situation.
nor have I heard about any of the black athletes that do own legal weapons. because there is no story there.
there are plenty of black athletes that own guns that we just don't hear about. this is only a story because of the fact that she was stupid enough to leave the rifle in a rental car.

Thats just what they want you to think. White folks pack more heat than whole hoods. Why do you think gun laws are so stagnant in this country? Because white folks maintain that right to bear arms. Hopefully brothas start doing the same. Purchase and maintain your weapons legally. They'll convince you to put your guns away without putting theirs away. I'm not saying you'll ever need it, or there will be any kind of domestic war, but its better to be educated on the laws and prepared, than to not be.

Black people just have a tendency to fall into this "guns are bad" stigma and think every time the topic comes up, someone needs to be locked up. 80% of the country has guns. The topic shouldn't be so taboo.

This guy plays this game way too often. If you haven't heard Costas, Patrick and Whitlock forays into black culture when an athlete that happens to be black is caught with a gun, then so be it
