I don't get all the hate on Ryan Gosling. Not saying the guy is the greatest actor of our generation or anything, but he is ten times a guy like Affleck.

And take a guy like Clooney....who most of the time just plays Clooney...Gosling is actually trying to act, and given his pretty boy image pulling off Lars and The Real Girl is impressive. Let's see Ryan Reynolds do that....it ain't gonna happen.

He portrayed The Driver exactly the way he was supposed to. One of my favorites. Remember Clint Eastwood playing The Man with No Name in the Fistful of Dollars Trilogy? That was the idea.

He delves in his character way deeper than some of you give him credit for.
