Bro what :dead:

he obvs meant that the inherent soul and musicality of black people was what we brought. Yes it originated in america but time and time again black people innovate and created new forms of music and where did we come...Africa.

Its not really that hard of a concept to grasp and no logical leaps have to be made at all.
It kinda is when the people of the homeland ain't pumping out anything of note that confirms said soul and musicality.

Scene would've been fire with just black americans and the genres of music we created, period. America is our starting point.

nikka just say you live in a bubble, Music from the Continent is doing numbers globally lol. I`m not even against just keeping the film Blues but stupid nikkas who don't leave the house but want to talk about the world make real topics become trivial.

So you have scoured the entirety of the immense continent of Africa and decided they have not recently made any music with soul or musicality? I don't claim to be an expert on current music coming out of Africa but...Afrobeats don't exist?

Come on breh :dead:

climax commentary:

So, when Preacher Boy is in the water with Remmick...and he begins to pray...i thought the finish would be him BAPTIZING Remmick and killing him, or blessing the water they were in.

no

That prayer did nothing...religion was NOT going to save him...he had to save himself :wow: The vampires mocked the Lord's prayer :merchant: as a christian i was :picard: but that was a level of depth i did not expect. As someone else said, it was the first time I've seen a movie that showed respect for and used voodoo above Christianity as a core dogma of the lead characters. I don't believe in voodoo or related religions but it is interesting to see in a film.
