Yeah, and Russia holds a lot of US IOUs that they can toss into the market and fukk us over. It's a reason why Obama is watching his words, Russia isn't Iraq you can't just punk them with idle threats. The EU brought this on themselves, offered a skimp deal compared to Russia AND said they had to choose one or the other when Putin was more than willing to work a compromise. The West is backing a regime that flat out snatched power and they're neo-Nazi elements within it to boot. I'm just laughing at all this, America got some nerve condemning Russia after all the illegal interventions they've been involved in. Europe or America don't want to intervene in this though. Chickens coming home to roost indeed. :ehh:

eu offered if im not mistaken 650mill in loans
russia offered 15 billion

googles

Moscow will buy $15 billion worth of Ukrainian government bonds and sharply cut the price of natural gas for its economically struggling neighbor.

I think it was 8 bil to Russia's 15 bil. Kiev was gettin a better deal from Moscow, the EU taking the deal off the table when Yanukovich took Putin's deal is exactly what triggered the protests back in November.

yep found it

The president had asked for US$20 billion in loans and aid . The EU was willing to offer €610 million ($838 million) in loans, however Russia was willing to offer $15 billion in loans. Russia also offered the Ukraine cheaper gas prices. In addition to the money, the EU required major changes to the regulations and laws in the Ukraine. Russia, however, did not.

any country in the world would have taken the russian deal hands down

Funny thing is now Moscow killed that discount that Ukraine has been gettin for so long due to unpaid debts so now they payin more for gas. It's funny, the only changes the EU were interested in was corruption that was more palatable for them. The west is no more benevolent than Russia is both sides are looking out for their interests, Ukraine would be an integral part of the new Eurasian bloc while with the EU it woulda been just another member not very high on the totem pole.

regardless, just remember where u rest ya heads.....if russian got weapons pointed at the west remember that u are not excluded

US has to protect it's interest too in this game of geopolitics.

Breh, all this serves to do is draw more heat on us. Russia isn't stupid enough to totally alienate the European and American markets, however the EU and America are stupid enough to delegitimize the democratic process in Ukraine in favor of an opposition that harbors fascist/neo-nazi sentiments. Only interests being looked out for is having NATO missiles at Russia's doorstep like they did with Turkey.

In other words, the West created the unstable situation and Russia feels the need to defend itself. Where was America's need to defend itself when it falsified intelligence to attack Iraq? Osama and Saddam HATED each other but we were made to believe they were in cahoots in order to break international laws and "intervene" much more aggressively than what Putin is doing right now. Where was the West's outrage when protesters were gettin scoped in Kiev by the police? Once Russia reacted, then it was :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:. If they even can at this point, they gotta roll this shyt back to the Feb 21st agreement and hold new elections and let Yanukovich face justice in due time. The mistake they made in Kiev is one that the Venezuelan opposition isn't tryna do in Caracas because it only serves to create an even more unstable situation. In many instances, it's America/Europe that draws the heat to themselves. So this whole notion of America fightin for our interests is bullshyt, Obama couldn't wait to bomb Syria but the people didn't want it. How exactly were they looking out for our best interests in that situation when the people opposed Syrian intervention just like we opposed Iraq intervention. If you break international laws, don't be mad when another world power decides to toe that line in order to protect their interests.

I have to say I am pretty impressed with the responses in this thread.:obama:You nikkas know your shyt. I have to add that the US (specifically the State department) funded this "coup". They wanted this nikka to be overthrown because he took the side of Russia. We want a nikka in there that we will benefit from, that we can use to shape foreign policy. There is so much motherfukking money to be made, that is basically what the bottom line is.

THIS IS ALL THAT MATTERS. If the Ukraine people want Russia to take over let it be. The previous president was DEMOCRATICALLY elected. Not sure why Americans are supporting this NeoNazi regime that seized power so suddenly. Its truly demonic what the CIA is doing here..

I guess you thought we became a superpower by being nice? :heh:
