I never thought they would get rid of Putin to be real even with the seizing of assets without Putin a lot of them would be broke old men in a soviet block talkin about old war stories about they time as KGB.
Equivalent of going from chief of police to a billionaire banker within a few years
The money oligarchs don't give a fuk about the old days etc. They just want to be rich. Taking their money/boats etc is working with them if you see their comments over the last couple weeks.
The security oligarchs don't really give a fukk about the money. I mean of course they want their families to be set and they are wealthy themselves, but it's not the underlying motivation. They actually look down on the money oligarchs and have zero respect for them.
Putin is very worried right now that one of his inner circle might replace him.
