i wouldn't say they are all hype.. They do have aging tech mostly and a lot of poorly trained troops. They're not particularly strategic either as this shows..

but they have a ton of firepower. Nobody besides the U.S. or China can match the sheer amount of vehicles/planes/subs and firepower.

That's why they are just going to end up overwhelming them. But the losses Russia will and has already are very bad for them too.

That’s what makes this even dumber.

You need troops/boots on ground to invade a territory or country. Planes and tank will only get you so far.

Now if you are repelling an attack on your land, armaments are key to inflict heavy losses.

Putin’s deranged mind is so intent on people attacking Moscow but no one was actually coming for him. So he ends up exposing the weakness of his military.

Now anyone would know as long as you don’t attack Moscow, his ground game is weak.
