I can't help feeling at the fact that a global pandemic couldn't unite the western world but the bombing of white europeans by Russia is what made everyone form like Voltron

I know there's more at play here, geopolitics are complex. But it just goes to show you we only react to violence and devastation. Anything else will be with everyone trying to save themselves.

Had the western world been divided before this? Thinking mainly North America, EU, and UK. Haven't really seen much division between them except for maybe how they individually handle covid but that's way different than the threats of a global war.
