Oligarchs are basically rich civilians with a direct line to him. They won't kill him because whoever kills Putin has to step up and govern Russia, that isn't a challenge which would appeal to the oligarchs. They'd just want to be left alone with their money and their luxuries. Running a country bankrupted by a disastrous war is not a job they would desire
